Atropine
Atropine is short acting and can be used in the treatment of bradyarrhythmias with haemodynamic compromise. Paradoxical slowing of the heart rate can occur in adults at doses less than 0.3 mg, and continuous monitoring of ECG is required, with the dose being titrated according to response.
